Obituary for Inez Ives

Inez Ives
On December 22, 1925 in Tulsa, OK, a baby was born to become a loving, generous, and strong-willed woman. That woman was Inez Peery Ives. At the age of 16, she met Mike Ives and married him three weeks later on 7/17/1942. They were blessed with three children.
In 1951, Billings became her home. Inez worked at various jobs, but found her niche working at the sugar factory in the lab for 26 years. She made life-long friends. Family was very important to her! Being together on birthdays and holidays were happy times for her. She made a great butterscotch pie. He door was always open to family and friends. She was a compassionate woman and worried about others’ health and problems, setting hers aside.
Inez will be remembered by many with a Pepsi by her side and her hair fixed to perfection. She left us on July 2, 2017 to join her lifelong husband Mike and son Mikel. She is survived by her son Pat and daughter Mickey, and many other family members. Visitation noon to 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 12, at Smith Downtown Chapel. Graveside Services held at 2:00pm Friday, July 14, at Riverside Cemetery in Cody, WY.
